Taxi 4

Taxi 4 poster Gérard Krawczyk returns to direct Taxi 4, the latest instalment of the French Taxi franchise. Samy Naceri is back in the souped up taxi Frédéric Diefenthal returns as the bumbling Émilien.

The plot, as ever, is very much secondary to the scenes of high speed car chases in narrow Marseilles streets.

Hi Anais, would you post in English please - we’re not all as linguistically accomplished as you.

I enjoyed this film. It’s silly, funny, fast slapstick that had me laughing out loud pretty much all the way through.

The plot is pretty thin, but keeps things moving along well enough and the film has plenty of gags to paper over the cracks.

My only real gripe is that there wasn’t as much car-related chaos as there probably should have been.
