LovecraCked! The Movie
A brief synopsis…
Howard Phillips Lovecraft was born on August 20th, 1890. His impact as an author of supernatural horror has had a huge influence upon modern day horror, sci-fi and fantasy writers including the likes of Stephen King and Robert Bloch. It was he who created the enduring myth of that fabled tome of evil, the Necronomicon, which played catalyst in Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead film trilogy. Yet sadly Lovecraft remains virtually unknown to the average reader or viewer, unlike his predecessor Edgar Allen Poe, whose stories are required reading in schools.
With Lovecraft’s great influence on horror fiction, it would seem inevitable that a documentary film would someday be made that would fully bring to light the life of this 20th century master of the macabre…
This is NOT that film.
Not since “Fahrenheit 9/11″ has one movie generated more controversy! Prepare yourself for an expose’ like no other - where quality investigative journalism is equaled only by the likes of FOX news!
Bats will fly! Pants will be lost! Aliens will invade! Typewriters will be thrown! Wardrobes will be shredded! And makeshift dummies will be dropped from extremely unsafe heights!
And there really isn’t anything to add to that, other than to point out that BiFF JUGGERNAUT’s The Voice Inside was both darkly funny and deeply disturbing and that LovecraCked looks like it’s going to be both funny and disturbed.
