In a country in the grips of evil, in a police state where every move is being watched, in a world where justice and honor have been subverted, a group of men hidden inside the highest reaches of power decide to take action. Tom Cruise stars in the suspense film, Valkyrie, based on the true story of Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg (Cruise) and the daring and ingenious plot to eliminate one of the most evil tyrants the world has ever known. Director Bryan Singer re-teams with Academy Award-winning usual Suspects screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie to bring to life the story of the men who led the operation to assassinate Hitler. The film also stars an acclaimed cast including Kenneth Branagh, Bill Nighy, Tom Wilkinson, Carice van Houten, Thomas Kretschmann, Eddie Izzard, Christian Berkel and Terence Stamp.
A proud military man, Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg is a loyal officer who serves his country all the while hoping that someone will find a way to stop Hitler before Europe and Germany are destroyed. Realizing that time is running out, he decides that he must take action himself and joins the German resistance. Armed with a cunning strategy to use Hitler’s own emergency plan – known as Operation Valkyrie – these men plot to assassinate the dictator and overthrow his Nazi government from the inside.
With everything in place, with the future of the world, the fate of millions and the lives of his wife and children hanging in the balance, von Stauffenberg is thrust from being one of many who oppose Hitler to the one who must kill Hitler himself.

First Squad is set in the third year of WWII, when the third reich laid siege to the reds in the east, and it has something to do with “The order of the sacred sword”, a German Catholic spiritual-military order of knights which in the 13th century carried out an armed incursion into the territory of Eastern Europe. The order was founded at the time of the crusades in Palestine at the end of the 12th Century A.D., and was endorsed by Pope Innocent III in 1198.

A member of the French Resistance, Louise (Sophie Marceau) flees to London after her husband’s summary execution. She is recruited by the Special Operations Executive (SOE), an intelligence
and sabotage service overseen by Churchill himself.
She is immediately assigned to an urgent mission: the rescue of a British agent who has fallen into German hands while preparing for D-Day on the Normandy beaches. The man hasn’t talked yet, but there is no time to lose. Louise must first put together an all-female commando unit. She will stop at nothing to get exactly the right women for the mission’s special requirements, even if it means lying, blackmailing or securing pardons for serving prisoners.
Suze (Marie Gillain) is a showgirl who excels in the art of seduction.
Gaëlle (Déborah François) is a chemist and explosives expert.
And Jeanne (Julie Depardieu) is a prostitute who has already killed in cold blood.
Parachuted into Normandy, they are joined by Maria (Maya Sansa), a Jewish Italian radio operator and the final member of the team.
The mission begins well but there are soon complications. Their SOE bosses give the women a new, almost suicidal objective: they must move on to Paris to eliminate Colonel Heindrich (Moritz Bleibtreu), the head of Nazi counter-intelligence, who has gleaned too much information about the Landings.

In 1943, a group of Croatian fascists overtake a strategically important point in western Bosnia and capture a group of Muslims. The Croatians keep them as hostages until the next group arrives to replace them. The main character Martin kills one of the Muslims and steals his watch.
This act connects to the story in 1993 when we meet Martin’s grandson Tomo. He is one of six soldiers of the Croatian army who have come to the same place in Bosnia. They fight a group of Bosnian soldiers and capture those they haven’t killed. In order to leave the place they have to kill the rest. We also find out that one of the captured soldiers is the grandson of the Muslim killed by Tomo’s grandfather.
