Tokyo Gore Police

Tokyo Gore Police poster The plot of Tokyo Gore Police revolves around Ruka, a police officer in a special squad formed to eradicate human mutations that have recently sprung into existence, the result of a virus created by a mad scientist simply known as Key Man. Killing these unwieldy mutants is no easy task, and Ruka, naturally enough, carries a samurai sword with her at all times. Despite being on opposite sides of the fence, Ruka and Key Man share a common bond: the murder of their fathers years earlier at the hands of the police, and both she and Key Man seek revenge for their dads’ untimely demise.

Deadwood Park

Deadwood Park DVD The small community of Eidolon Crossing once boasted a flourishing economy and great prosperity, fueled by Dogwood Park, an amusement park at the edge of town.

Then the child murders began.

When the first child’s corpse was discovered at Dogwood Park, the town knew they had been pulled into a horrible nightmare. As more murdered children were unearthed on the amusement park property, attendance began to decline. Finally, the macabre publicity shut the park down entirely. Dogwood Park was abandoned. The old amusement park became known as “Deadwood Park” by the locals. Eidolon Crossing quickly withered into poverty.

Over the course of 35 years, 26 children disappeared at the hands of the elusive murderer. In 1979, Jake Richardson’s little brother Francis was the last of the children to be abducted. Jake and his parents moved away from Eidolon Crossing shortly thereafter. Now an adult, Jake is drawn back to Eidolon Crossing, the town where his brother was taken from him. The spirits of the many murdered children begin to contact Jake. He glimpses them in the shadows of his house. He hears them whisper in the darkness of the surrounding farmland. Jake is led back to abandoned Deadwood Park. Here, somewhere in this decaying amusement park, is the path that leads to the killer’s identity. It becomes Jake’s mission to solve the mysteries of this sinister, blood-soaked town.

Snow Doesn’t Melt Forever

Snow Doesn\'t Melt Forever poster The atmosphere around Love is always rough. The name of the main heroine is also Lubov’ (Love in Russian). This movie is a labyrinth of her inner search. What is she looking for? She is trying to find an exit from the “underground”, which she imprisoned herself into, while working on a book. But it turns out that this book has already been written by some mythological Japanese writer: a woman, who lived in the 16th century… Lubov’ bought the book incidentally at an antiques bookshop, when she lived in Japan with her husband and their daughter. This book is about a boundless and interminable Valley. People come to the Valley in search of love. Being helplessly tied to Nothing, they plunge onto the bottom of this Valley, wishing to shake different burdens off their souls, and in the long run they realize, that Love means not only passion and tenderness, but fear and pain as well. Perhaps, the things are not always like that… But all the characters of the movie are doomed to suffer a burning flame of pain.

This is the law of ascension to a different kind of Love, which tears the heart day and night, breaking it to pieces, and raises the soul to a higher spiritual level. Who is the man, who Lubov’ is going to love? Does he even exist in this world?

Nothing but chance and heavy fog could bring him to this cursed place. People who live here do not resemble any other people which the traveler saw before that.
