The battle has been fought and lost - the walking dead have taken over the world. Only a few small groups of the living have survived. One group of scientists and soldiers are barricaded in an abandoned missile silo, where the chief scientist is conducting grotesque research experiments in a bid to find a way of controlling the ravenous marauding zombies

As tensions steadily increase in the group, the situation becomes intolerable when the self-appointed psychotic military leader discovers that some of his soldiers have been used a guinea pigs in the zombie experiments. A last ditch battle results in the “darkest day of horror the world has ever known”
