Blade: Trilogy

Blade: Trilogy Whatever you thought of the final installment in the Blade series, it’s hard to deny that Stephen Norrington’s Blade was superb and Guillermo del Toro’s Blade 2 was even better.

So, for the sake of completeness, I’m more than happy to plug this particular fangtastic box set.

Spy Vs. Spy: The Complete Casebook

Spy Vs. Spy: The Complete Casebook Remember Mad magazine?

If so, you must remember Spy vs Spy, the dialogue-free stories of cross, doublecross, cruelty and violence from the mind of Cuban refugee, Antonio Prohias.

And if you remember that, you’ll be delighted to learn that every single one of Prohias’ Spy vs Spy strips has been collected into a single book. That’s over twenty years of cartoons!

Also included is a sample of the El Hombre Siniestro and La Mujer Siniestro that Prohias did in Cuba and which led to his sudden relocation to the US following Castro’s naming of him as an enemy of the state.

Buy the book, read it, and enjoy the mayhem. Because, at the end of the day, there ain’t no good guy.
