As Emmett inter-weaves the macabre life tale of Cyrus with the story of his last three victims, Maria comes closer and closer to the greatest story of her life - or what's left of it. Filled with reenacted documentary footage of actual forensic experts, serial killers and police authorities, Cyrus presents a simultaneously beautiful and horrific examination of the destructive nature of cause and effect leading to the creation of the most prolific serial killer in the history of the United States.

While the film does have some limitations, it is a very strong first film and one that marks out Damian Morter as someone to watch out for. If he builds on the strengths demonstrated here, we can look forward to some very powerful films in the near future.

The seed is planted and Ray, fearing he will lose his love, engineers the plan. Hiring a professional arsonist becomes a fatal error, and the plan goes horribly wrong. Alarm bells sound and suspicions are raised, but miraculously, the dust looks to settle. After all...Nobody knows. Then the first blackmail note arrives. The couple's nerves are tested as both Carla's husband and the mystery author threaten to throw open their secret. With the blackmailer's deadline approaching they are going to find out just how far they are willing to go for love.

The first story details the final days of Mark Anton in 1995. The second story concerns Michael, a present-day writer, whose obsessive investigation of Anton's disappearance begins to blur between reality and fantasy. In the last story, porn star turned director, Matt Stevens, channels a script of Anton's supposed demise and begins a seemingly cursed production.

As it unfolds, surreal and supernatural elements increasingly haunt and connect the three stories, weaving together a world begging to know... what is real?

I've just heard that the good folks at R Squared have picked up the film and are shooting for a June release. Do check it out because this film really does demonstrate just how much the horror genre is capable of.

The tenants are moving out, no one but them and their friends drinks at the bar on the ground floor, and the building’s pets are going missing. If all that isn’t enough to make them sit up and take notice, there’s also a good chance that a monster is living in the basement.

The Mole Man of Belmont Avenue is a horror/ comedy that explores what happens when a terrible situation is dropped into the laps of the two people least equipped to deal with it. The Brothers Mugg can either step up to the plate and finally grow up, or they can wait and clean up the mess as a mysterious creature eats every living thing in the building, one by one.

Copyright holders are mistaken to think that punishments are the key to getting their new businesses to work. Laws rarely work when they need to be backed up by harsh and unfair punishment, especially of the innocent: our sense of fair play will tend to conclude that something in the law itself is at fault.

The event at the Sci-Fi Center will kickoff at 8 p.m. with a batch of trailers, followed by the Las Vegas premiere of the Minnesotan beauty's award-winning directorial debut Why Am I In A Box?. There will also possibly be other footage shown, such as sneak preview clips of upcoming projects.

Grubb, along with actress and model Lisa Pechmiller, will be on hand after the cinema fun for a Q&A, meet and greet and autograph session. There will also be collectables such as poker chips, trading Terror Cards, as well as DVDs and photos for sale at the event.

We are on the verge of building so many restrictions into online activity that the creativity, inventiveness and sheer joy of life on the net will be squeezed out just to ensure that over-hyped comedians are able to censor videos of their fans waiting for the show to begin.

But Zonad is not a space cadet in the literal sense. This alcoholic chancer has escaped from a rehabilitation clinic. At first, Zonad tries to evade the warm welcome of the villagers, but the procession of wanton women and free beer soon gets the better of him.
