Bush bans himself

As has already been widely commented on, a conversation between George Bush and Tony Blair at the G8 summit was accidentally recorded. But what you may not be aware of is that if any US broadcater transmits the unedited conversation, they would face a $325,000 fine from the Federal Communications Commission under indecency legislation that was passed last month.

The remark, from Bush, that can’t be transmitted is…

You see the irony is what they need to do is get Syria, to get Hezbollah to stop doing this shit and it’s all over…

… ’shit’ being the problem word.

If ever there was an argument for not banning offensive language, this is it.

    I must confess to admiring the irony of the “leader of the free world” being censored.
