The ever busy Kim Sønderholm has dropped me a few photos from the upcoming British horror film named WebKam. The film was written and directed by Ibraheem James Layton and stars Eleanor James, Joanne Gale and Kim Sønderholm.
Filming wrapped last Friday and the film is now being edited with a planned completion date shortly before the new year.
WebKam has been described as being “Grittish” – a contraction of British and grity – and promises to be bloody, messy, sexy and gory and not at all for the faint of heart.
Victoria (Eleanor James) is a bit sad due due to a break-up with her boyfriend, Matt (Kim Sønderholm). Her best friend Lilly (Joanne Gale) tries to cheer her up, but fails. One day a strange character wearing a clown mask appears on her computer screen. He calls himself Kam and he wants to play a game - it is the beginning of grueling nightmare for Victoria.
The full set of photos can be seen after the jump.

Charles A. Christman III’s rather excellent The Eye of Menw (review, trailer) has won the Best Horror prize at the 2008 Pocono Mountains Film Festival.
The film, which effectively harks back to the horror films of the 1930s and 40s, also took third place in the Short Film Category at the 2008 Hauntcon festival.

I’ve just had word that Erik Soulliard’s The Creek will be coming to DVD on October 28th from Indie-Pictures - just in time for Halloween.
On the fifth anniversary of the death of their friend Billy, six friends are forced back together by his ghost. Billy’s death was officially considered an accident but old suspicions and conflicts return. When people start dying they all must ask themselves if it’s his ghost, one of them, or because they returned to The Creek?
The film is definately worth checking out but if you need more, we do have both a review and a trailer.
