The Real Grindhouse returns to New York City on Friday 13th
Wild Eye Releasing proudly presents the Friday the 13th Fright Show on Friday, June 13th in New York City at the Two Boots Pioneer Theater. The spools on this double bill begin unreeling at 11:00 pm with The New York Grindhouse Trailer Show - a screening of over two dozen vintage horror film trailers, right from 35mm, including Suspiria, Fright, Madhouse, Squirm, To the Devil a Daughter, The Land that Time Forgot, The Town That Dreaded Sundown and They Came From Within - just to name a few.
Following this screening at midnight will be a rare 35mm showing of Richard Ciupka’s 1983 Canadian slasher entry Curtains. Jonathan Stryker (not the faux director from the film, but the very real writer) of Houseofhorrors.com will be on hand to introduce the film.
If you’re in the New York City area, be sure to join Wild Eye in celebrating this unluckiest of nights with some classic grind house style chills, thrills and laughs!
Tickets can be ordered in advance from tix.com.
