If you’re wondering how to better use your power tools and plant machinery then the gloriously gruesome My Dear Killer is a stylish horror thriller that’s better than any product demonstration video!
When you want to guarantee death only a bulldozer will do as Police Inspector Peretti (George Hilton) discovers when he investigates a headless body that’s recently lost a fight with a digger. As he further excavates into the case Peretti discovers a disturbing link with the murder of a young girl, but the further he delves the more the bodies pile up as the killer embarks on a murderous trail of DIY devastation.
This is the only Giallo thriller that spaghetti western director Tonino Valerii made but in one attempt he created an absorbingly complex and delightfully twisted take on the genre that’s delivered with flair and considerable tension.
My Dear Killer will be released in the UK on 14th April by the good folks at Shameless Screen Entertainment.

Alter Ego Cinema have launched the official subsite for I Fell In Love With The Devil’s Daughter.
The film, which follows a young Japanese Girl in a small American town, involving sex, murder, cannibalism and spirituality, is set to begin shooting this Spring by Amateur Porn Star Killer creator Shane Ryan.
“I grew up on Shô Kosugi films (with “Revenge of the Ninja”, “Enter the Ninja” and “Black Eagle” being my favorites) from the time I was about 3 until I was about 10 (and was also a huge fan of TMNT) before other interests took over. Eventually I became interested in small town stories (my most recent favorites being “Dandelion”, “Rain” the Martin Scorsese presentation, among others). And I just spent the past 2 years of my life dating a Japanese Girl, so I guess this is like a combo of everything. I’ve always had some kind of connection to Japan. My only other long-term relationship the girl had been born in Japan. Michiko (who I worked with in numerous films, including APSK) was born in Japan. And we had a couple Japanese girls stay with us when I was in high school as a foreign exchange program, so I think it was inevitable that I eventually make something Japanese.” -Shane Ryan
Filming was postponed while Shane needed to prep for Amateur Porn Star Killer 3, but they plan to get back on track very soon. “This will be my first non-mockumentary feature released”, says Shane. Expect to see it early next year.
