Watchmen gets a writer
Zack Snyder was attached to the ongoing attempt to film Alan Moore’s Watchmen back in March. Now the film has taken another small step to realisation with the arrival of a writer - Alex Tse whose previous credits amount to… Sucker Free City.
On one hand, the fact that a writer has been attached is a hopeful sign that the film might actually be made. But I’m far from convinced that someone with only one TV movie under his belt is the right person to turn this thing into a script.
