British Roundabouts are Art

Roundabouts of the UK

The legendary Roundabouts of Redditch Calendars are back for a second year of running. This time hold your breath.

12 stunning shots of the very best Traffic Islands in the seven of the UK’s stunning towns. The lucky Towns are: -

Bolton, Croydon, Milton Keynes, Swindon, Grimsby and Cleethorpes, Slough and Redditch.

A tidy looking roundabout, with a great Art Deco building as a backdrop.

If you are not aware of it, you really should check out the roundabout at the entrance to Fleetwood, Lancashire. Gifted to the town by Doreen Lofthouse owner of Fisherman’s Friend cough lozenges, is a bronze replica of Eros, the Trafalgar Square statue. This has been mounted on an impressive plinth in the centre of the roundabout on Amounderness Way. It is quite a sight.
I am happy to forward pics if you are interested.
In my years of travel throughout the British Isles, this is certainly the most individual roundabout I have seen

I would be quite interested in seeing what the roundaboout looks like. If you have a link to a picture of it, it would be much appreciated…
