Love Is Never What It Seems: Trailer for Strawberry Summer
I found the trailer for Strawberry Summer via Deneen Melody, who is starring in the film and, after a bit of poking around, discovered that there is also an IndieGoGo Campaign running to raise funding for the film. If the trailer is anything to go by, this is a very human drama and one that I would really like to see.
Fay is a quiet, introverted teenager. New in town, Fay has yet to make many friends. Fay tries to navigate through the divergent worlds of her disciplinarian, devout parents and the unrestricted lives of her peers, but feels alienated by both. When her parents’ marriage begins to fall apart, Fay’s feelings of isolation are heightened.
She just wants a friend. Someone to listen, someone special to love.
Then Summer comes along, and nothing will ever be the same.
