Dante Tomaselli looking to direct Halloween 9
From Moviehole comes the rather interesting news that Dante Tomaselli – whose first two films, Desecration and Horror, were superb and whose third film, Satan’s Playground is garnering excellent reviews – has been in touch with the people that matter to try and land the directing duties for Halloween 9.
Speaking on the Guts and Glory forum, Tomaselli says “I’d love to direct Halloween 9. I really would. Halloween is my all time favorite movie. I saw it on my birthday in 1979. I was 9″. And he’s told the producers that he wants to return to the spirit of the original film – which does mean a return for Jamie Lee Curtis.
If Dante Tomaselli does get into the director’s chair for this film, I’d even come back to the series.
i know dante’s work and talent. i also am a fan of horror and the holloween series is one of my favorites. i think it would be win win if the producers could get dante to direct the next film. a lot of my friends agree. go for it people! john cavallaro
please have dante direct halloween 9. we neeed to get the film back to the great suspense element that made the first one great. also please film it in the 2:35:1 aspect ratio, also like the original.

when will holloween 9 be release and will it continue where holloween resulation left off.
They need to make at least one more film. If they want to continue after another that’s fine with me. But ending it with Resurection would be stupid. It was the worst one of the franchise…well I take it back…Zombie’s was the worst. I heard the rumor was Jamie Lee Curtis would return and she has some of Michael’s powers. Meaning she can’t die either. Would be interesting if they go this route.
