Submission
Theo van Gogh was murdered on 2nd November.
The current view is that his murder was the result of his short film, Submission which centers on the stories of four Muslim women who were beaten, raped and forced into marriage and who call on Allah for help.
The film – which was written by Somali-born Dutch MP Ayaan Hirsi Ali who wanted to draw attention to the level of violence towards Muslim women – was to be the first instalment of a three part series.
